AfDB’s Mozambique Country Office (Maputo) is recruiting a Local Economist Consultant to support our 2026 work program.
If you’re a Mozambican (or resident) economist with strong analytical skills, solid writing abilities, and an interest in policy, development, and data, this is a great chance to contribute to national development on a part-time basis.
What you’ll do:
Support the mid-term review of the Country Strategy Paper
Contribute to overall analytical work and data collection
Prepare presentations, notes, and reports
Assist with policy dialogue and stakeholder engagement
Location: Maputo
+ Duration: 60 part-time working days
