Our client in Maputo is looking for Accountant to join their team for a job vacancy within the FMCG Sector.
Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and monthly/year-end closing.

Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.

Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Support audits and provide documentation as required.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting roles.

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) and proficient in English;

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or local ERP system).
