Our client in Tete is looking for Accounting Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Tobacco Sector.
Responsibilities:

Design and review accounting systems and practices to plan, monitor, and improve the company’s financial performance.

Contribute to the design and review of internal controls within financial systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Review the completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation for new suppliers or changes to existing suppliers before approval for the company vendor list, in accordance with established procedures.

Verify the accuracy and completeness of supplier payment files before approval by authorized signatories.

Schedule and coordinate the annual stock count in line with company procedures, collaborating closely with stores and procurement teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting plus professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA).
- 5 Years Experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting systems, internal controls, and financial procedures.

Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documentation and payment files.

Experience coordinating stock counts and working with procurement/stores teams.
