FUNCTION
Reporting to the HSE Project and Operations Manager, the Job Holder will be responsible for supporting the HSE operations team within the Project, ensuring that all activities related to Health, Safety, Security, Sustainability and Environment (HSSE) are conducted in full compliance with Company and Affiliate policies, procedures, objectives and international standards. The role includes supporting the implementation of the TEPMA1 HSE policy and promoting a strong HSE culture and related initiatives across the various project sites; proposing HSE objectives, relevant KPIs and dashboards to ensure effective monitoring; ensuring that HSE actions are prioritised according to risk level and regularly reviewed; proactively identifying emerging HSE issues and preparing mitigation plans in coordination with Project Management; ensuring, together with Site HSE Managers, that safety tools and programmes are properly implemented; carrying out frequent site visits to provide HSE coaching and training at all organisational levels; supporting the update of Project Management documentation; monitoring the progress of Safety Studies and ensuring close-out of resulting actions; participating in and leading HSE studies and risk assessments related to design and operations; providing HSE support to package teams; supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the One Maestro system; leading investigations of significant incidents, including HiPO events; reviewing incident analyses and ensuring the implementation of corrective actions; disseminating lessons learned (REX); supporting the Logistics Department in mitigating risks associated with road, marine and air transport; ensuring, in coordination with the medical department, the effective implementation of the Health and Industrial Hygiene programme; assisting in the assessment of Contractors and Subcontractors prior to contract award; defining HSE requirements, reviewing Contractors’ HSE management systems and conducting regular audits; participating in workshops, meetings, risk assessments and investigations; promoting HSE stand-downs when required; contributing to the development and monitoring of HSE Bridging Documents; and supporting the organisation of regular Contractors’ HSE forums.
