Our client in Pemba is looking for Processing Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the Mining Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of daily production by means of vacuuming and size screening.
- Preparation of data sheets relating incoming material, sizing data and other client recovery.
- Manpower management.
- Ensure that the material is correctly and accurately sized to enable effective sorting.
- Ensure that residual material from sizing is accurately recorded and securely stored.
- Keep track of all equipment breakdowns.
- Transmit any equipment shortages and requirements.
- Execute regular maintenance on glove boxes and storage areas.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in sort house especially gemstones.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in processing plant operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of processing plant systems and equipment.
- Experience with production planning, plant optimization, and process control.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
