Our client in Maputo is looking for a Project Officer to join their team for a job vacancy within the NGO Sector.
Responsibilities
- Implement project activities and community mobilization in malaria control programs at the district and community levels.
- Conduct door-to-door sensitization sessions, community talks, and support for communication campaigns.
- Collect, organize and report field data, ensuring quality of information and compliance with project indicators.
- Work in close coordination with local health authorities, community leaders, and project partners.
Requirements
- Degree in Communication, Public Health, Community Health or similar field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community mobilization or public health projects.
- Previous experience in fieldwork with NGOs or health programs in Mozambique.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel) and fluency in Portuguese (English is a plus).
- Availability for frequent travel and Light Vehicle Driving License.
